Other Projects

We have other successful groups on the go with musician friends. Here are some of our favourites:

Forro Porro – This lineup specialises in South American fiesta sounds – Brazilian Forró and Colombian Vallenato, Porro & Cumbia – driving accordion & drum music – styles that raise the spirits and fill up dancefloors right across the continent.

Quinteto Mambo Jambo – Our 5-piece band, ‘QMJ’, with Andy Swift on bass, and Grant Ardis & Gary adding percussion, serves up a highly flavourful spread of Latin dance styles including salsa & son, chachacha, merengue, samba & rumba.

Nambo Zambo – This is a collaboration with Nahro Zagros, our great friend and accomplished violinist from the Kurdish part of Iraq.
